I do believe that the market, the trends, and the products are easier to understand if you’re directly involved as a sporty person. It all started with bikepacking when it was not a trend: I grew up with road cycling, hiking, trail running, snowboarding and climbing. The sports industry is first of all a passion. I love to scale up peaks (see my Strava and Instagram profiles). The outdoors makes me feel alive. I feel comfortable in open spaces and doing adventures: when there’s a climb or a challenge I can be the best version of myself.
